Gymnastics photos are a great way of recording your progress and creating memories to stay with you for years to come. This is a problem. Even college gymnastics photos reveal women who resemble undeveloped girls. In this sport, the young dominate completely. Even in the male field, male gymnasts, although older than the females, are now of slight build. Where once big, heavy muscled body builders dominated gymnastics pics show slighter men. Kurt Thomas, for example, introduced the new look in Barcelona, Spain in 1975.

Consider pictures of gymnastics greats such as Vitaly Scherbo of the Ukraine, Bart O’Connor of the United States and Ivan Ivankov of Russia. Examine photos of the women since Olga Korbut e.g. American Brandy Johnson, Lu Li of China, Tatiana Gutsu of the Ukraine, and today’s current stars and stars-to-be. They all fall into a single model.
